Anna University,established on 4thSeptember 1978 as a unitary type of university, is one of the largest technological universities in the world with over 750,000 students. Anna University has been positioned in 13thplace among Indian Universities by the 2023 QS ranking. It offers higher education in Engineering, Technology, Architecture and Applied Sciences relevant to the current and projected needs of the society.
